My name is Arvis, I live in Latvia (though last 2 years due to the work commitments I’m spending quite a lot of my time in UK), I’m 40 and last 20+ years I’m working in the IT industry… Mostly I do system/business analysis and project management tasks as part of my job, however I also remember something from my developers past and time by time create some software and hardware for my own needs :)…
If by some reason you would like contact me, feel free to use arvisc at gmail dot com…
Dear Arvis, I am impressed by your work! I would like to do the same project for my apartment. I am wondering if you could provide some tutorials on how to build the controllers that you have used to integrate in the wall switch? Would appreciate if you could have a step-by-step guide / tutorial to replicate what you have done for your home automation project!
Many thanks!
well, as you might noted I have not created any new entries in my blog since March. unfortunately my primary job keeps me quite busy, and while I don’t mind helping others doing the same I did, I will have no free time in next few months to put everything in some kind of tutorial, as there are a lot of different bits lying around in different formats and quality.
also there are mistakes found in my solution, and big part of them are fixed in quite ugly way directly on pcb 🙂 and do not yet appear in the current design files…
if you are trying to create similar things on your own, and face some issues, I don’t mind explaining how I dealt with them, but I’m sorry, there won’t be nice easy to repeat tutorials in near future available…
No problem! Noted! Thanks anyways for the efforts! I will try to play around and if I have any concrete issues, I will bother you again 😉
